2009 - 2010 : RANKINGS | LONGEST | SPRING | SUMMER | AUTUMN | WINTER | DETAILS

What a Winter...!

With all the weather we've had, the entries are much depleted for the end of this competition year - oh well, that's ballooning.

Only 5 flights were entered for this last quarter and all scored maximum points. Ian Warrington had the most entries with 3 submitted. 3 pilots managed entries.

Mark Granger had the longest flight of 16 kms in Staffordshire, landing only yards from the county border (yes, Mark, I do check, and have spies everywhere!).

Shortest flight was by Piers Glydon in Gloucestershire at 11.4 kms.

Five counties were contested in all.

So Ian has increased his points total and managed to regain the Trophy this year from Mark.

Well done, Ian Warrington, this year's Counties Champion!

Points summary for this quarter ...

Ian Warrington : 30
Mark Granger : 10
Piers Glydon: 10

And well done everyone - including all the new pilots this year. Here's hoping for better weather in 2010 and lot's of great flying for you all.
