2010 - 2011 : RANKINGS | LONGEST | SPRING | SUMMER | AUTUMN | WINTER | DETAILS
For a moment I thought, "Wow! what a lot of entries" but when I looked closer, several had sent duplicate entries for the same county. And others didn't check out on the map as landing in the same county either. So not as good an entry as I'd thought at first - ah well. Just to clear it up, fellers, only your longest flight in a county can collect points. Please also check your landing co-ordinates against the official map to confirm you have, in fact, landed in the same county! You'd be surprised how many didn't this quarter! There were 24 entries for the Summer Quarter this year - only 14 qualifying for points due to reasons mentioned - but I just love the enthusiasm! 7 pilots flew in 11 different counties. Nice to see some new names in the competition - welcome all! Ian Warrington had the longest flight with 24.6 km in Lincolnshire. Shortest flight was by Anthony Hill in East Sussex, just creeping in for points with 5.06 km. Ian Warrington again amassed most points with David Rawlings leading the chasing pack. This quarter points summary: Ian Warrington : 46 (E. Midlands) Ian's contribution to the Club Comp keeps East Midlands at the top of the Leader Board but for how long as London are now chasing with three pilots - Edward, Sue and David - collecting points for their club.
