2008 - 2009 : RANKINGS | LONGEST | SPRING | SUMMER | AUTUMN | WINTER | DETAILS

Poor weather at the beginning of this year has resulted in only 9 flights being submitted - let's hope things improve and, as I type this, it is indeed sunny and there's a good forecast for the coming weekend.

8 counties were contested, by 4 pilots but I'm sure we will get more competitors this year - do please spread the word!

All 9 flights qualified for points.

The longest flight was by Ian Warrington at 35.6 km in Lincolnshire with new competitor Alex Kennedy also having a long flight in Lancashire at 31.2 km. Alex reports that it was a slow flight and he was airborne for 4 hours to get the distance!!

Shortest flight was by Piers Glydon in Norfolk at 7.1 km.

Points summary: as on the Rankings table as it's the first quarter.
