2008 - 2009 : RANKINGS | LONGEST | SPRING | SUMMER | AUTUMN | WINTER | DETAILS

... and a cool finish.

Well done, chaps - and, in view of all the snow we've had recently, thought this was appropriate - Graham Cannon's Viva-77 - 'Snowman'.

13 flights were entered for this last quarter and all scored points. Mark Granger and Ian Warrington had the most entries (4 each) and 6 pilots participated.

Mark also had the longest flight of 48 kms in Norfolk.

Shortest flight was by Ian in Cheshire at 6.9 kms.

The Icicle was well attended and resulted in 5 entries on the one day - the 3rd January - and the most entries for a single county - Wiltshire.

Seven counties were contested in all.

Mark has increased his lead in this last quarter and Ian was unable to reel him in - although I know he would have liked to dearly!

Which makes Mr Granger our new overall champion for 2008-9 - very well done, sir.

Points summary for this quarter ...

Mark Granger : 36
Ian Warrington : 29
Piers Glydon: 16
Neal Parry : 10
Mike Gunston : 4
Peter James : 2

And well done everyone - including all the new pilots this year. Let's persuade some others to join in next year's competition.
